Girls' Birthday Theme

We are starting to think about the girls birthday party for the upcoming year. You can vote for the theme to the right. Mommy reserves the right to do whatever she wants in the end though ;)

Christmas Card Pics

When we were in Monterey for Thanksgiving we made a few attempts to get pictures for our Christmas card.

Santa Night @ Nana's Office

Every year they have a Santa Night at Nana's office where Santa comes & brings presents for the kids.

Natalie went up & sat on Santa's lap to get her present this year :)

Santa brought her her very own camera.

Olivia got a nursery rhyme book.

"Say 'Cheese'"

Both girls with Santa & Mrs. Claus. A pretty good picture!

Showing us her pictures.

Olivia's First Christmas

Natalie got the biggest kick out of putting the Santa hat on Olivia. Olivia obviously didn't mind too much! She is such a happy girl!

Santa's Helpers

Olivia & Natalie both loved digging through the boxes of decorations & "helping" me decorate the tree & the house. Silly girl

...and my other silly girl :)

Parade of Lights

We took Nana & Papa and Nana G & Papa G and had a fun dinner at Firkin & Fox then walked across the street to be ready for the Christmas parade. The Papa's got us a great spot under some trees in front of the Gallo Center so we were sheltered from the sprinkles of rain that might have otherwise ruined the evening.

Natalie & Nana with their umbrellas, waiting for the parade to start.

Olivia had a great view from the Baby Bjorn (silly Papa trying to ruin my picture!)
It wasn't that cold, but Natalie thought she needed her hat & gloves anyway :)

Waving to Santa at the end of the parade.

Father's Day... lost photos

I just found some pictures in Ron's camera from our Father's Day party at my moms. They were too good to simply file away. I love both of their smiles in these. You can tell they were having a good time together!

The Aquarium

Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend was a pretty rainy day in Monterey, so we went to the aquarium.

Checking out the birdies before we went in...

Daddy & Natalie taking pictures...

...and seeing what they got.

Here's what they took a picture of :)

Watching the Sea Lions

Exploring the aquarium

Not sure what we were laughing about, but this is pretty cute.

Natalie used to be scared of the "wave machine" but this time she enjoyed it and kept asking Nana to "do it again."
