Thanksgiving in Monterey

We decided to get out of town for Thanksgiving again because last year when we went to Monterey it was so wonderful. We missed the family that we didn't get to see, but we had such a wonderful & relaxing time.
Natalie likes playing with great-grandpa's magnifying glass and examining shells and other little things around the condo.
This was Olivia's third time to the condo already. But she was very mobile this time, unlike the last two trips.

Snuggling on Thanksgiving morning.
Olivia was crawling towards Daddy & his camera and then she flipped over & laid down. We all cracked up.
A little later, we took a walk on the beach. It was a beautiful day.
A little cold, but still awesome!
Olivia loves to watch the waves.

Nana & Papa brought Natalie a few new games to take with us. She loved "Cootie"
Natalie with her "cootie." She won without us letting her cheat ;)
Natalie & Papa snuggled & watched a movie on the mini-DVD player
Olivia loved the mirrors as most babies do.

Silly Girls

We seem to always get pretty silly with this toy... Remember this??? Natalie wore the same "hat" :)
Olivia is starting to clap her hands... Right now it is one hand and one fist. It's so cute to see a baby do this!
And, Natalie posing with Boots & Kitty is pretty cute too!

Cruisin

While the weather was still mild, we would play outside every afternoon when we got home before going in to make dinner. One day I was brave and let Olivia take a ride with Natalie in the mustang. She loved it and Natalie is getting much better at steering so I wasn't a completely nervous wreck. I was right next to Olivia the whole time but she sat perfectly while her sissy drove her around. Such fun!
I love the view of their little heads from the back...

Little Turkeys

Natalie & her friend Bryana from next door wanted to do a "project" while they were playing at our house, so I checked my craft supply stash and came up with something for them to do. They loved it, especially painting their turkeys and choosing their feathers to put on.
I love this pic. Look at how busy they are!
Silly girls!

This was such a fun craft & I'm glad they asked to do a project.

She LOVES to eat!

Halloween

We had a very fun Halloween day. We made jack-o-lantern cupcakes, homemade pizza & then went trick or treating.
Getting ready to decorate cupcakes

She was pretty excited about these lanterns that I found at the dollar store. They worked really well.
Our cute Cowboys Cheerleader
Our adorable pink leopard

Olivia got to ride around in the wagon while Natalie trick-or-treated.

Pumpkin Patch

We had bad timing for the pumpkin patch this year. Right when we got there it started to rain. But we got out our umbrellas & made it fun anyway. It was just a shorter visit than we would have liked.

Natalie always loves Papa to pull her around in the pumpkin wagons. The group & the umbrellas :) Olivia's first trip to the pumpkin patch

Mommy, Olivia & Grandma Virginia

Natalie really wanted little pumpkins.
So that's what she got :)

7 Months Old!

And happy as can be!!!

Playing

Thanks to the really mild weather we have been having, we have been playing outside a lot. I know this one is blurry, but I love the expression on her face. Having so much fun!
