The Bunny Hop

Busy Big Girl

Natalie is definitely busy with the important job of being a big sister, but she still manages to find time for a little fun too!
Playing tea party with her princesses. Just being silly!
and cute!
Peeking through her puppet stage...
This is her favorite thing right now, so that happens everyday.
"Fixing" her car "like Daddy does."

Precious!

Sleeping is pretty much what she does best right now...

Natalie's 3rd Birthday Party

Natalie's 3rd birthday party was a princess theme. Nana & Papa really wanted to get her a bounce house and how could Ron & I say no. She was so excited when it arrived. For about an hour she had it all to herself. Then Nana jumped in and Natty couldn't have been happier.
I never thought I would have one of these in my backyard, but it was some of the best $ spent. The kids had a blast!!
Here is the princess birthday cake that Natalie picked out.
Here is princess Natalie enjoying her pizza.
Natalie was so excited to see "Bobo" (Alex)
Natalie helped open her presents but she was very distracted because really wanted to be bouncing.

Natalie loves her friend Bryana's power wheels so much, Ron & I decided to get her her own. We got her the pink barbie convertible. She was so excited when we brought it out. Special thanks to my dad for driving me to Citrus Heights when I was 39 weeks pregnant to pick it up and for putting it together for us too!

Believe it or not, the kids did take a break from the bounce house to play on the swing set. The birthday girl was so excited for her cake...
...and it wouldn't be a Natalie party if she didn't lick the frosting off of something :)

Who knew a princess bounce house could be so entertaining...
...but when the twins joined Natalie & Bryana in the bounce house, that was definitely the case!
Arg! I just deleted the picture & blogger is stupid and won't let you add pictures at the bottom of a post... see the next post for the picture

Twins in Bounce House

they were screaming & bouncing & falling... it was all so entertaining!!!

Memories...

Natalie is THREE!

It's so hard for us to believe that Natalie is THREE already! Time definitely goes by way too fast once you have kids. For her birthday celebration at school, Nana helped Natalie make cupcakes to share with her class. Natalie is on a blue kick right now so we chose "polka dot cupcakes with blue frosting" at her request :)

Natalie is getting to be an expert at helping in the kitchen. She and Nana had a great time making cupcakes together.

The frosting and sprinkling part was Natalie's favorite.
Here is the birthday girl at school with her cupcake and her special crown from her teachers.

Our 1st week as a family of four

We are adjusting well to being a family of four... Here are some of the things we did this week.

We are so lucky to have such a supportive family. My mom has been out to help us almost everyday and my dad has been bringing out home-cooked meals every couple of days. Natalie likes to help with everything right now so she helped Grandpa make a salad to go with dinner the first night we were home. Natalie admiring her baby sister...

...and getting to hold her for the first time.

Of course, Mommy is getting in lots of snuggle time!

Olivia is only awake for a little while each day, but when she is we all enjoy these moments.
